Scheduling Listings
GarageSale enables you to start your eBay listings at a set time in the future. This is particulary useful, if for whatever reason you cannot be around at the desired time.
GarageSale features two different scheduling options:
- To use eBay’s scheduler, simply enter the start data in GarageSale’s listing inspector (“Advanced” tab). Keep in mind though that eBay will charge you for this service. You still need to start your listing in GarageSale to provide ebay with your listing data. eBay will then activate your listing when the start date arrives. Neither your Mac nor GarageSale need to be running at this time.
- To use GarageSale’s built-in scheduler, highlight as many listings as you wish to schedule, click the PLUS icon in the toolbar and select ‘New Event from # listings’. This way you can group any number of listings into a single scheduler event. A scheduler event has a start date and an interval specifying the time passing between each listing’s start. Unlike eBay’s scheduler, GarageSale’s scheduler is free of charge, but GarageSale needs to be running and your Mac has to be connected to the Internet for your listings to start at the desired time.
